Featured in this lot is this outstanding Diamond, 10K Gold Tennis Bracelet. The bracelet shows a tennis bracelet design with 10K gold construction and a total weight of 5.9 grams. The tennis bracelet is liberally decorated with 40 round brilliant-cut diamonds. Tennis bracelets and necklaces got their unique name from an incident involving Hall of Fame tennis legend Chris Evert who often wore a diamond bracelet to her matches. During a match in the 1978 U. S. Open, Evert lost her bracelet and play was stopped so it could be found. After Evert’s bracelet stole the game on that fateful day, the phrase “tennis bracelet” was born. This tennis bracelet is in extremely nice condition, diamonds are brilliant. Lobster clamp has 10K and maker's hallmark stamped. Total weight is 5.9 grams. Measures 7"L
