Available for your bidding pleasure we have a Hudson's Bay Company Safe Passage Medallion. This medallion is made out of copper material and on it is engraved "Hudson's Bay Company. 1677 Moose Factory. Safe passage." It also has an "HB' which stands for Hudson's Bay as well as a Fox. Engraved on the back is "The bearer in his majesty's service, give him safe passage, treat him accordingly, by authority of our sovereign Lord King Charles II, 1977." This medallion is in good condition and hangs on a blue ribbon. Unclasped, this piece measures 36". The originality and age of this piece is unknown.
