One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold cast star ruby and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured star ruby is set within a diamond bezel supported by tapering diamond set shoulders, completed by a four and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with rhodium accents. Trademark is Orianne. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set round cabochon cut natural star ruby approximate weight of 17.29ct., dark, very slightly brownish, strongly purplish red color, (GIA stpR 7/3), cut is good. This stone has a complete six ray star with strong intensity and good movement. Transmitting light very diffusely, opaque. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. No indications of heating. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. One hundred forty-six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds approximate total weight of 146 Stones = 1.09ct. Graded in the setting.
