Featured in this lot we have a Indenture apprentice contract from 1789. The contract is a mix of printed lettering along with hand scrawled lettering in the blank spaces. The contract goes into detail of the rules and regulations for their conduct that the apprentice must follow for the fifteen years that the contract is active. The template of the contract was printed in Philadelphia, printed and sold by Foseph Cruksbank. The piece is set into a dark stained wood frame with a tan border. The piece is in good condition overall with some wear on the contract paper. The frame measures 11 1/2" wide by 15 3/4" tall.
