Up for bidding is a 1800's Bowie Knife with leather and bronze scabbard. The knife features a bronze guard and tang. The tang is wrapped in an etched bone handle. The blade show's its age with a rich patina. The scabbard has a well aged leather body, bronze throat and chape. It also features two straps which can be used to attach the scabbard to a saddle, pack or person. Total measurements are 19" x 3.5". Blade measures 12.75". Handle measures 5.5".
