Featured in this lot are three original photos of children posing with bb guns from the late 1800s; including cabinet cards and Carte de vista CDV. The first photo shows a young boy in a button jacket and cape standing in front of a building as he poses for a photo. He is wearing a calvary hat and holds a bb gun at his sit in a soldier like style. The second photo was taken by John S. Noe in Virginia, Nevada and shows another young boy, Willie, standing in a studio setting holding a small, wooden rifle as he stares at the camera, posing for the photo. He is wearing a double button jacket, a hat and a white collar as he is surrounded by floral decorations in the studio. This photo is marked on the bottom reading, "John S. Noe, Virginia, Nev.". The back of the photo is marked, "John S. Noe, No. 82 Fourth E Street, Virginia, Nev. / Duplicates may be had of this at any time, at a reduced price". The third and final photo shows another young boy grinning big as he gets his photo taken in a studio setting. The back of the photo is marked reading, "Carl Balcork". The photos show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. They measure from 6 1/2" L x 4 1/4" W to 5 1/4" L x 4" W and have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
