Featured in this lot is this beautiful Regency style oak 'country house' English boot jack from the mid 19th Century. This boot jack shows a very nice oak construction with brass fittings on the top of the toe hold. The top features a handle to hold on to as you take your boots off. To use the boot jack you set the heel of your boot in the front of the jack, then wedge your toes under the swinging toe hold and pull your boot off as you hold the handles. The piece shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use, but no signs of damage is noted. It measures 20 7/8" L x 15 5/8" W x 32 1/4" H and weighs 7 pounds and 4 ounces.
