For your consideration is this 1865 first edition, oxford edition copy of “Life of Daniel Boone the Great Western Hunter and Pioneer” by Cecil Hartley. This book includes an account of his early history; his daring and remarkable career as the first settler of Kentucky; his thrilling adventures with the Indians; and his wonderful skill, coolness, and sagacity under all the hazardous and trying circumstances of western border life. The condition of this book is good for its age and shows some wear to the edges of the book cover and browning to the pages. There are a couple rips to the first page, but otherwise it is in good, overall condition. The measurements of this book are 7 1/2" x 5 1/4".
