For your consideration is this 1871 illustrated copy of “Polar and Tropical” by Dr. G. Hartwig. This book includes a description of man and nature in the Polar and Equatorial regions of the globe. There are nearly two hundred illustrations in this book. The book was published by Bill, Nichols & Company out of Springfield, Mass. and entered according to Act of Congress in 1871. The condition of this book is fair, with a slight tear in the material the spine is wrapped in and wear to the cover consistent with the age of the book. The measurements of this book are 10" x 6 3/4".
