For your consideration is this 1872 illustrated copy of The Great West as it was and as it is by Henry Howe. This book includes narratives of the great events in the history of the west; from the discovery of the Mississippi to the opening of the pacific railroad: together with histories and descriptions of the new states and territories. This book includes illustrations with chromo tints and maps, and wood cuts. The condition of this book is good with some wear consistent with its age, and some slight browning to the pages but otherwise in good preserved condition. The measurements of this book is 9" x 6 1/2".
