for your consideration is this collection of 68 store receipts and checks from different towns around Montana circa 1874-1925. The features documents include receipts, checks and letters made out to mostly saddle and harnesses companies around Montana. The documents include: Fish Brothers' Wagons letter, John E. DeHaas Saddles & Harnesses letter, G. Marotz Harness & Saddles letter, A.B.Duke & Co. Harness & Saddles bill, Victor Ario, Dr. Harness & Saddlery bill, W.A. Roland General Merchandise bill, Babcock & Miles Hardware store bill, Joseph Sullivan Harness & Saddle bill, Horses for Sale Cooney & Tebo's Stable ad, Butte Harness and Saddlery Co. bill and much more. These documents come from various towns around Montana such as: Virginia City, Miles City, Red Lodge, Chateau, Missoula, Townsend, Chinook, Puller Springs, Great Falls, Logan, Billings, Fort Benton, White Sulphur Springs, Phillipsburg, Butte, Helena, Dillon, Livingston, Miles City and Meadow Creek. The pieces are all in good condition for their age, with some showing slight discoloration and wear to edges. All documents are in good readable and display condition. The largest measures 11" L x 8 1/2" W, while the smallest measures 3 1/4" L x 8 1/8" W.
