The book features a description of many of the most stubbornly contested battles in the War of the Great Rebellion, as well as incidents and reminiscences of the camp, the march, and the skirmish line embracing the record of the privations, heroic deeds, and glorious triumphs of the soldiers of the republic. This is an illustrated copy. The condition of this book is good, with wear to the front cover of the book, wear to the spine, browning to the pages consistent with age, and wear along the inside cover of the spine. The measurements of this book are 8" x 5 1/2".
