Featured in this lot is this 1875 first edition copy of Washington an His General by J.T. Headley. The design of the following work is to group around Washington the chief characters and scenes of our Revolution. This is a two volume in one copy that shows a blue cloth wrapped cover with a gilt cameo of George Washington and shows gilt lettering on the spine. The condition of this book is good with slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine and shows browning to the pages consistent with the age of the book but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of this book are 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2".
