For your consideration is this 1878-1893 U.S. Morgan Silver Dollar collection set in Dansco coin album, containing twenty-seven U.S. Morgan Silver Dollars. The album features 60 coin slots but only 27 have been filled and placed in their respective spots. The 27 coins featured in the album are from various years and feature different minting cities (S- San Francisco, O- New Orleans, No Mint Mark- Philadelphia). The coins included are as follows: 1878, 1879, 1879 (O), 1879 (S), 1880 (O), 1880 (S), 1881, 1881 (O), 1881 (S), 1882 (O), 1883 (O), 1883 (S), 1884, 1884 (O), 1885, 1885 (O), 1886, 1886 (O), 1887, 1887 (O), 1888 (O), 1889, 1889 (O), 1890 (O), 1890 (S), 1891 (O), 1892 (O). The Morgan Dollar was designed by Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan (1845-1925) and was minted from 1878 to 1904, and again in 1921. The album features five pages to put the coins where they can be seen from both sides. The front of the book shows gold gilt lettering reading, "Silver Dollars 1878-1893". The coins vary in their condition and the book shows good condition overall with no signs of major damage or wear noted. The coins measure 1 1/2" L x 1 1/2" W, while the album measures 9 3/8" L x 7 7/8" W x 1" D. It weighs 2 pounds and 12 ounces.
