Featured in this lot is a collection of Montana paper ephemera originating from pre-statehood 1886 to the 1940's. Included are two leaflets on union issues, circa 1920s; Butter Miner newspaper debt collection notice, 1919; I.O.G.T. (International Order of Good Templars), Walkerville Lodge 25 notice of "Apron and Necktie Basket Sociable", 1886; two Virginia City notices, one being the proclamation of a remembrance service to honor recently assassinated President William McKinley, 1901; lastly, a "Telephone Call Code" placard for the Anaconda mine in Butte, Montana, that says, "NOTICE Telephone Call Code

The ephemera is in overall good condition especially considering the almost 150 years age of some items. Age tanning and foxing exhibited, no other obvious marring noted. Largest piece measures 7.75"W x 9.75"L
