Featured in this lot is this collection of original ephemera in the form of a territorial bounty warrant from the "Territory of Montana". There are four checks in this collection. The first is a Territory of Montana bounty for killing 212 squirrels, dated 1887 and for $10.60. The second is a Montana Territorial Warrant dated 1886 and $10.95 for stationary for audition and Treasurer. The third is a Montana Territorial warrant for 53 squirrels, from 1887 and for $10.65. The fourth is a Stock Indemnity Fund Warrant from the State of Montana out of Helena, Montana and is dated 1892 for a total sum of $190.65. The condition of these warrants is good for their age, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these warrants are 9 1/4" x 4".
