For your Stanley #45 adjustable combination plane/plow/rabbit with 16 blades in the original box. In 1890's Stanley used a nickel plating in their manufacturing; The plane is marked Stanley no. 45 on the left side of the plane with floral decoration and attention to detail given to the nickel construction of the plane; and the original box of blades shows the original description of the items included in the protective box. The condition of this plane is good with a a chip out of the wooden guide that has derailed the guide from the plane, and the wooden case shows its age with slight patina adorning the aged softwood. The measurements of the plane and blade case are 6 3/4" x 9" x 11 1/2" and the case of blades measures 4 3/4" x 10 1/4".
