Warren's book is one of the best, late 19th century descriptions of the American West. This includes descriptions of San Francisco, Sacramento, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. In Addition to accounts of the major cities, Warren Includes descriptions of National Parks such as Yellowstone, beautifully illustrated with various landscapes and national wonders. Illustrated with 85 wood engravings. The condition of this book is good, gilt edging of pages, with slight wear to the silver gilt embossed cover of the book and the spine and foxing to the pages consistent with the age of the book and normal handling, pencil writing on inside page opposite front cover, title page peeled at the top.
