Featured in this lot is this 1897 first edition of “The Old Santa Fe Trail” by Colonel Henry Inman with illustrations by Frederic Remington. "The Old Santa Fe Trail: The Story of a Great Highway" provides a comprehensive history of the Santa Fe Trail, including historical accounts of exploration, Westward expansion, and Indian relations. There are several illustrations by Frederic Remington throughout. The book features a wonderfully decorated cover with gilt lettering. The condition of this book is good, with slight wear to the cover of the book. The measurements of this book are 9 ¼” x 6 1/4" x 2”.
