For your consideration are these three early Venetian skunk bead necklaces. These beads were highly valued in trade with Native American Indians. The first necklace consists of trade beads made of black glass with white, pink, and light blue spots, also referred to as skunk beads. These beads are in a round shape. On this necklace are also eight red round "skunk" beads with white "eyes". This necklace is strung on raffia and measures 24" with 3" of no beads. This necklace is in good condition. The second necklace is made of red round beads with white skunk eye. This necklace is strung on cotton string. The beads in this necklace have some damage. This necklace measures 23" with 2" of no beads and is in fair condition. The third necklace is made of black beads with white stripes and yellow/orange eyes. This necklace is on cotton string and measures 23" with 5" of no beads.
