Featured in this lot is a second edition copy of Dr. Carl Toldt's book "Anatomic Atlas for Students and Doctors," published in 1900. Carl Toldt (May 3, 1840 – November 13, 1920) was an Austrian anatomist who was a native of Bruneck, Tyrol. In 1864 he earned his medical doctorate in Vienna, and was later a professor of anatomy in Prague and Vienna. This copy is in German even though later copies would be published in English. It is full of diagrams and definitions pertaining to human anatomy. These hardback volumes are in good condition for age and measure 10.5" x 7.25".
