Included in this lot we have a Lilihan Persian, hand knotted wool area rug originating from the early 1900's. The rug features a fine detailed design, bright colors, and a tight weave. The Lilihan Persian rugs are hand woven in the town of Lilihan and surrounding villages located south of Iran in the Khomeyn province. The piece displays colorful geometric floral patterns across the center, with the triple border showing geometric flower designs. The piece shows a tight weave with colors of red, blue, orange, white, brown, and black. The piece shows good condition overall, with little wear and use. The rug measures 62 1/2" wide by 87" long.
