Featured in this lot is this pair of Society of Montana Pioneers ribbons, circa 1903-1906. There are two ribbons in this collection. The first is a ribbon from Great Falls, Montana from the Society of Montana Pioneers for its 20th annual meeting in 1903; the ribbon features a button of the Discovery of Great Falls by Lewis & Clark, 1805. The second is a ribbon from Anaconda, Montana from the Society of Montana Pioneers for their 23rd annual meeting from 1906; the ribbon shows two buttons with a log cabin and “1882”, as well as a dangle button of farmland that reads, “Washoe Smelter 1906”. The condition of these ribbons is good, with slight wear to both ribbons due to age and storage. The measurements of these ribbons are 6" x 2 3/8" and 3 5/8" x 2 1/2".
