For your consideration is this original Northern Pacific Railway "Wonderland 1906" souvenir album, with an affixed business card from G. F. McNeill, "city passenger and ticket agent", who in 1926 was listed as the Assistant General Passenger Agent in the Minneapolis office. The album encompasses Yellowstone National Park, Bitterroot Mountains, Columbia River, Pacific Northwest Coast and Alaska. There are numerous photographs throughout and a large map of the US indicating Northern Pacific Railway routes as well. The album was made to promote travel to the two parks by way of the Great Northern Railway. The GN ran from Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Seattle, Washington, it was the creation of 19th-century railroad entrepreneur James J. Hill and was developed from the Saint Paul & Pacific Railroad. The Great Northern's route was the northernmost transcontinental railroad route in the U.S.
The condition of this book is good with some wear consistent with its age, spine cover damage, pages separating from spine, foxing noted throughout. The measurements of this book are 9.5"L x 6.75"W.
