This is an original intake document from the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge from October 19th, 1908. The document was created when the convict was received at the prison. The document lists the prisoner as Florence Riordan, who was convicted of "manslaughter". Handwritten across the two accompanying photos is the convict's name and inmate number: “Florence Riordan/ 2584”. Riordan was 38 when she entered the prison on October 19th, 1908. She was sentenced to one year, with release date set at September Nineteenth 1909 and "with good time earned". The bottom portion of the document shows two I.D. photos of Riordan. This is a fantastic, historical Montana document. It shows good overall condition. The document measures 8 1/2" x 16 1/2".
