For your consideration is this 1910-30s Kienzle Uhrenfabriken American made clock with German Hermle Movement. Jakob Kienzle (1859 - 1935) was the founder of a major German clock producing factory in the town of Schwenningen, Württemberg. Karl-Johannes Schlenker left the company in 1898, thus leaving Kienzle as the sole owner. Kienzle had by then started with "American style" clock mass-production, pounding out 500.000 clocks a year. This beautiful wall clock features roman numerals on the face and designs in between. The movement is encased in an American style wood box with glass panes for viewing. The case features two black wood columns and a triangular top. The clock and case are in good condition with the case missing a wood piece at the top center that was repaired, but no other signs of obvious damage. The clock has not been tested for functionality. The clock measures 31 1/2" L x 12 1/4" W x 5 3/4" D.
