For your consideration is this first edition copy of John Muir's, "First Summer in the Sierras”, circa 1911. This wonderful, blue cloth covered hardback has gilt lettering on the spine of the book and is full of illustrations from drawings made by the author in 1869, as well as photographs by Herbert W. Gleason. The condition of the book is good, with some browning to the pages consistent with age. The measurements of this book are 8 1/4" x 5 1/2".
