Offered in this lot for auction is a pair of original 1914 US Cavalry saddlebags. The bags are constructed of rich leather, and utilize brass rigging. Each bag is marked "US", while the mounting strap reads "Rock Island - Arsenal - 1914 - H.E.K.". Overall, the saddlebags show good condition for age, with slight tears at the bottom of the bags, and three replaced buckles. The bags, when unfolded, and laid out, measure 46" long, and 13 1/4" wide.
