Featured in this lot is a 1917 First Edition of, "Life and Adventures of Buffalo Bill," by Colonel William F. Cody, Stanton and Van Vliet Co. Publishers, Chicago. The book chronicles the thrilling life and times of one of the greatest adventurers of the late 1800s and early 1900s. From his start as an army scout during the westward expansion to the Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, this book is an exciting read as Buffalo Bill's own words grace its pages. The condition of this green-cloth bound, gold gilt stamped illustrated hardcover is in good condition overall, very slight scuffing exhibited to the cover edges. gold gilt still bright and clean. Intact pages exhibit age related tanning and slight foxing. No other obvious marring observed. The book measures 5.5"W 7.75"L x 1"D, weight 1lb.
