For your consideration is this 1917 7th Impression copy of, "Travels in Alaska" by John Muir. Muir was a Scottish-American naturalist who campaigned extensively for the preservation of America's wilderness lands. He co-founded the Sierra Club and is often referred to as the "Father of the National Parks". The book describes the adventures and travels John Muir took across Alaska. The book features twelve illustrations spread throughout the book. the hardcover book shows a sage green color with white lettering along the cover and spine, with a colored illustration across the top of the cover. The condition of this book is good with slight wear to the corners of the spine. The interior pages are in good condition with no signs of tears of foxing. The book measures 8 1/8" L x 5 5/8" W x 1 3/8" D.
