Featured in this lot is this 1918 U.S. WWI era saw blade trench theater fighting knife. This knife shows similar style of handle and full tang blade as other trench fighting knives of the WWI era. The blade features a saw blade on the top and an almost kukri style, larger curved edge for hacking and slashing; it also features an aluminum handle. The condition of this knife is fair; the knife seems to have been reshaped by sharpening and features patina consistent with the age of the knife. The measurements of this knife are 10 1/4" x 2 3/8" x 5/8" and the blade length is 5 3/4".
