1919 Northern Pacific Rail Road Depot Sign Plans

For your consideration is this original 1919 Northern Pacific Rail Road, standard plan for lettering rooms in depots. This plan shows all the different signs, their measurements and notes on how to have them constructed. The signs include locations such as: Telegrams, Smoking Room, Conductors, Waiting Room, Tickets, Baggage and Lunch Room to name a few. The plans also show the typical sizing and style of the lettering on the signs. In the top right of the plan, it shows that this is sheet 301. The bottom right hand corner reads, "N.P.R.R. Standard Plan Lettering For Rooms In Depots / May 17th, 1919" and shows approved signatures from the Chief Engineer and the Federal Manager. The plan shows some wear with tears and rips on the edges but is still in good readable condition. The plan measures 10 3/8" L x 15 7/16" W.
