This is an excellent hand woven flat weave large rug by master weaver Julia Ruiz using 100% soft fine hand spun Lincoln Wool in an outstanding 1920s style Chechem Tierra pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% handspun Lincoln Wool yarn, a luxury fiber that is incredibly soft, subtle, and durable. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bold colors in the fine Chechem Tierra pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Julia Ruiz. This bold and beautiful rug shows a fantastic Navajo Trading Post Eye Dazzler Pattern styling showing a heathered brown background with central stepped diamond pattern which radiates out with various stepped diamonds and crosses along with dientes stepped diamond figures at the center and four corners bearing colors of cream, red, indigo and yellow. The piece is brand new in pristine condition with a fine tight weave and incredibly soft Lincoln wool, this will without a doubt be the softest rug you own. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inches by 5 foot). This is a contemporary rug hand woven by Julia Ruiz, a Zapotec Indian from a small weaving village, in amazing natural dyes and wool showing an unbelievable craftsmanship.
