For your consideration is this Lehmann, Germany metal tin bucking bronco numbered 625 and circa 1920's. This toy shows a cowboy on a bronc that when you pull the strings in the chest to initiate the action of bucking the horse. The Ernest Lehmann Co was founded in 1881 by Ernest Paul Lehmann in Brandenburg, Germany. Lehmann exported vast quantities of toys to the United States from 1895 to 1929 (excluding years of WWI). Lehmann specialized in lithographed tinplate, mechanical transportation toys, and figures known for colorful patina. The condition of this Lehmann toy is fair with some oxidation from age and use consistent with its age, and has be remounted on a stained pine shield. The measurements of this bucking bronco toy are 7" x 6 1/2" x 2 3/4".
