In this lot is a rare original photograph of Emigrant Peak, Emigrant, Montana, hand tinted in 1928. This photograph is in its original gold gilt frame. In the foreground is a flock of sheep grazing in Paradise Valley. In 1900, Montana was the number one wool producing state with over six million head of sheep. The framed photograph is in good condition for its age of almost 100 years. The frame measures 14 3/4" x 9 1/4".
