For your consideration is this collection of collectors cards from Ghirardelli's Chocolate Company and Goudey Gum Company circa 1930-1933. The first set is from Ghirardelli's Chocolate Co. and features eight collectors cards. The cards in this collection are: Two Red Foxes, one Curlew, one Pin-Tail, one Kingfisher, one Bob White, one Red-Tailed Hawk, and one Canvasback Red Head card. The cards read on the front, "One Of These Reproductions Of North American Wild-Life Issued In The Interest Of Conservation Found In Every Package Of Ghirardelli's Milk Chocolate". The back of each card has a small write up on the featured animal that is on the card. These cards show good condition with some slight wear and fading from their vintage age and years of use. The cards measure 5 1/2" L x 2 13/16" W. The single collectors card is from Goudey Gum Company in Boston, Massachusetts circa 1933. The card features a Native American on the front with the front reading, "The Prophet / Indian Chewing Gum". The Native American man is wearing a feathered headband and a large fur necklace. He wears yellow arm bands on both of his arms and has blue pants on. The back tells about the Prophet from the Shawnee Tribe and shows the company name. The card is in good condition with little wear from its vintage age. The card measures 2 7/8" L x 2 3/8" W.
