Featured in this lot is this 1930 copy of “Sun Up: Tales of the Cow Camps” by Will James. This book shows a wonderful light brown cloth cover with brown and gold gilt on the cover and spine of the book. The book is illustrated by the author. Will James (June 6, 1892 - September 3, 1942) was a French Canadian artist and writer of the American West. He is known for writing “Smoky the Cowhorse”, for which he won the 1927 Newbery Medal, as well as numerous "cowboy" stories for adults and children. The condition of this book is good, with some smudges to the pages. The measurements of this book are 8 1/4" x 5 1/2".
