The Bijar Persian rugs are hand woven in the town of Bijar and the surrounding villages located northwest of Iran in the Kurdistan province. The Bijar rugs are known for their high durability and compact weave. The piece displays a wonderful, tight geometric medallion design at the center, with the border showing floral designs. The piece shows a tight weave with colors of red, navy blue, orange, pink, and brown. The piece shows good condition overall, with little wear and use. The rug measures 55" wide by 114" long.
