The condition of this carved bone and buffalo/ bison nickel oak branch walking stick circa 1930's. The walking stick shows oak branch construction and shows a carved bone and lightly decorated in scrimshaw design of flowers with a Buffalo nickel attached to the top. The Buffalo nickel or Indian Head nickel is a copper-nickel five-cent piece that was struck by the United States Mint from 1913 to 1938. It was designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser. The condition of this walking stick is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall useable condition. The measurements of this walking stick are 33" x 1" x 1".
