Included in this lot we have a Kashan Persian hand knotted wool runner rug originating from 1930's. This is a wonderfully patterned Persian rug shown from a city in the northern part of Isafahan province, Iran; with lovely designs and high thread count. The medallion and corner pattern on an ornately patterned floral field is a trademark of Kashan rugs. The colors used in the designing is usually a combination of deep blues, rich reds and ivory with occasional splotches of yellow, green and burnt orange. The rug features four borders each showing geometric floral designs. The piece shows good condition overall with little wear and use. The rug measures 3' 4" wide by 10' 3" long.
