Included in this lot is a Kashan Persian hand knotted wool runner rug originating from 1930's. This is a wonderfully patterned Persian rug from a city in the northern part of Isafahan province, Iran. The rug features lovely designs and high thread count. The medallion and corner pattern on an ornately patterned floral field is a trademark of Kashan rugs. The colors used in the design are usually a combination of blue, red, orange, white, brown, green, and light blue. The rug features three borders, each showing geometric floral designs. The piece shows good condition overall, with little wear and use. The rug measures 35 3/4" wide by 67 1/2" long.
