Featured in this lot is this Kazak Persian hand knotted wool runner rug circa 1930's. The rug displays a fine detailed design, bright colors, and a tight weave. Kazak style rugs are similar in design to Heriz rugs, with a colorful and bright coloration. The rugs were traditionally woven by various tribes located near the Caucasus Mountains. This rug displays a geometric border with medallions across the center. The condition of this Kazak runner is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this runner is 6.6' x 2.7'. The collective weight of this rug is 8lb 10oz. S895
