Featured in this lot is this 1930's, mint female Skookum doll with a child in a papoose. The doll has a tag, reading "trademark registered Skookum (Bully Good) Indian U.S.A. Patent." The doll shows good, sturdy construction; it is made with a wooden frame, straw filling, ceramic-like face, and human hair. The piece shows a child over her left shoulder in a papoose and both wrapped in an Indian trade blanket. The condition of this doll is fair with a crack under the right-hand side of the chin, but otherwise it shows good, overall condition. The measurements of this Skookum doll are 17 1/2" x 6" x 4".
