For your consideration in this lot is a Navajo Native American 1930's trade necklace. This double stranded shell and turquoise necklace has sterling silver cones at the hook and eye clasp. The necklace is 32" long with two strands of very small heishi shells spaced with graduated size Sleeping Beauty turquoise nuggets. There are 44 nuggets very tightly strung with heishi shells. The silver cones on the ends are stamped with lightning symbols. The largest nugget measures 1" x 1/2" and the smallest measures 3/8" x 1/8". This necklace is in very good condition.
