For your consideration is this Emergency Conservation Work license plate circa 1933. This is a rare depression era embossed steel plate issued by the Emergency Conservation Work which is the predecessor to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and would have been placed on trucks to urge operators to drive carefully. The condition of this license plate is fair the plate is work with multiple oxidation spots present and shows its age and hard usage. The measurements of this license plate are 8" x 14".
