For your consideration is this vintage Pabst Blue Ribbon Export Beer flat top can from 1935-1940. The first major brewer to can beer was Pabst, but starting out, they sold "Export" beer and not "Pabst Blue Ribbon". This was still Blue Ribbon beer but it was called “Export” when sold in the can. Their first cans had a picture of a can opener on the side with instructions on how to open the can of beer, with the can opener. The can shows the famous logo on the front in red lettering reading, "Pabst" with the iconic blue ribbon logo below it reading, "Pabst Breweries". Below the logo in blue and white lettering it reads, "Export Beer". There is an instructional graphic on how to open the flat top can with a can opening on one side and and brief history write up on the other side. The can comes from the Premier-Pabst Corp. and was brewed at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The can was opened on the top. The can shows very good condition despite its vintage age with the logo in pristine condition and no rust spots present. The can measures a diameter of 2 5/8" and a height of 4 3/4".
