Featured in this lot is this 1938-D Buffalo Nickel, professionally graded by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation of America as MS66 with an outstanding golden rainbow tone and deep color on both sides, one of the best examples available. The nickel shows the Buffalo on one side and reads, “United States of America - E Pluribus Unim - Five Cents”. The second side features the Native American man’s head and reads, “Liberty – 1938”. The condition of this coin is good, with heavy golden tone and patina consistent with the age of the coin. The measurements of this coin are 7/8" x 7/8". The coin was minted in Denver, Colorado and is shown in professional Numismatic Guaranty Corporation of America Hermetically sealed case.
