Featured in this lot is a 1940-1950's garnet and diamond, 18k yellow gold ring with GIA and AIG paperwork. This ring shows an electronically tested 18k yellow gold ladies cast with markings of 'K18' and 'DO-10' and '6-57.' The center stone setting is a mix of three bezel set hexagonal and shield mixed natural garnets with a weight of 6.57 carats, good eye clean clarity, and a dark, slightly brownish, purplish red color. The three stone setting is decorated with 16 brilliant round cut diamonds with a weight of .10 carats, a clarity SI1 to I1, and a color scale of G-H. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIGL#: 000718344103) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $2,585.00.
