Included in this lot we have a pair of miners carbide lamps and a sliding top carbide flask originating from the 1940's to 1950's. The set includes a Dewar carbide lamp, a Baldwin carbide lamp, and a Justrite sliding top carbide flask. The Dewar ITP carbide lamp shows a steel construction with brass handle and steel hanging hook. The piece shows a large reflector, flame adjustable knob, and fuel cap. The piece is marked around the center reading "ITP Lamp Dewar MFG CO. Brooklyn, N.Y. U.S.A." with the patented information above that and the reflector marked "Dewar MFG Co. Brooklyn N.Y. Pat. Pend.". The Baldwin lamp shows tin construction with a good reflector, carry clip, flame adjuster, and fuel cap. The piece is marked across the top reading "The Baldwin Lamp Pat. Aug.23.1900 Pat. May.22.1906 Others Pending" with the bottom fuel container marked "Trade Mark S Guarantees Satisfaction John Simmons Co. New York. U.S.A.". The final piece is a Justrite sliding top carbide flask that shows steel construction. The can is marked "Trade Justrite Mark Made in U.S.A." across both sides. The collection shows good condition for their age with expected wear and scuffs from use. The Dewar measures 7" tall(15 1/2 by 3 1/8" in diameter with the Baldwin measuring 4" tall by 2" in diameter and the Justrite measuring 3 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" thick and 4 1/2" tall.
