Featured in this lot we have a Santa Clara red pottery bowl originating from the 1940's. Santa Clara Pueblo is known for its potters that create black, red, polychrome pottery. This type of pottery has been made at Santa Clara Pueblo for generations since the late 1800s. The bowl shows geometric designs painted across the top of the exterior in Off-white, red, and light brown. This bowl was hand crafted by Santa Clara Pueblo Native Americans in New Mexico. The bowl shows a red glazed exterior and is free of any signatures or markers marks. The bowl shows good condition overall with age appropriate wear. The bowl measures 2 1/4" tall by 3 1/4" wide.
